The American Meat Science Association wanted to know if a big bet on students, service, and science would resonate.
The American Meat Science Association exists to cultivate a global community of professionals and students to discover, apply and communicate meat science and technology.

AMSA engaged The Sheridan Group to conduct a feasibility study on behalf of a $5 million endowment campaign for initiatives supporting Students, Service and Science. The firm helped AMSA onboard a well-respected campaign cabinet, secure 100% ‘stretch’ commitments from the board and dozens of leading members, attract several leadership gifts from key industry partners before launching the Meat the Future Campaign at the AMSA Annual Meeting.
The Campaign to date has secured more than $2.6 million in commitments, with an additional $3.5 million in long-term planned gifts through its new Legacy Society.
