Stephanie joined The Sheridan Group in 2021. She has dedicated her career to the nonprofit sector for more than 20 years. Stephanie has served as an executive director for a health advocacy organization as well as held development and program management roles for organizations serving seniors and people with disabilities. In these roles she expanded programming, strengthened infrastructure, and grew fundraising revenue. 

Stephanie earned a BS in accounting and an MS in gerontology from the University of Southern California and an MEd in adult and organizational development from Temple University. Demonstrating her commitment to model practices, She is a BoardSource Certified Governance Consultant and a Licensed Standards for Excellence® Consultant.

Stephanie has more than 30 years’ cumulative experience as a board member. Her board service has included roles with the Association of Fundraising Professionals’(AFP) global board as well as two local chapter boards, the Junior League of Wilmington, Del., Old Brandywine Village, and White Horse Village. She authored chapters on boards and fundraising for the second and third editions of The Handbook of Board Governance, which were published by John Wiley & Sons in 2020 and 2024.

Stephanie lives in Wilmington, Del. with her husband, yellow lab, and two generations of koi.
