Stephanie has dedicated her career to the nonprofit sector for nearly 20 years. She has served as an executive director for a health advocacy organization as well as held development and program management roles for organizations serving seniors and people with disabilities. In these roles she expanded programming, strengthened infrastructure, and grew fundraising revenue. Stephanie is an adjunct faculty member for Villanova University’s College of Professional Studies where she teaches fundraising.

She earned a BS in accounting and an MS in gerontology from the University of Southern California and an MEd in adult and organizational development from Temple University. Demonstrating her commitment to model practices, Stephanie is a BoardSource Certified Governance Consultant and a Licensed Standards for Excellence® Consultant.

She has more than 30 years’ cumulative experience as a board member. Her board service has included roles with the Association of Fundraising Professionals’(AFP) global board as well as two local chapter boards, the Junior League of Wilmington, Del., and Old Brandywine Village. Stephanie serves as president of the AFP Brandywine Chapter. She authored a chapter on boards and fundraising for the second edition of The Handbook of Board Governance, which was published by John Wiley & Sons in 2020.

Stephanie lives in Wilmington, Del. with her husband, yellow lab, and two generations of koi.
